Primary Fit Anchor: High-Functioning Anxiety & Relational Stress
College is supposed to be a time of growth — but for many students, it feels overwhelming, uncertain, or isolating.
You may be managing classes, relationships, independence, and expectations — all at the same time — without feeling grounded in any of it.
We provide psychotherapy for college students navigating:
Academic pressure and performance anxiety
Procrastination, burnout, or loss of motivation
Anxiety in social or academic settings
Difficulty adjusting to independence
Loneliness or lack of belonging
Identity questions (who you are, what you want, where you’re going)
Relationship stress (friends, family, romantic partners)
Feeling stuck, directionless, or overwhelmed
Often, students are capable and driven — but unsure how to manage the internal pressure they’re carrying.
Strong Fit Contexts
Therapy may be a strong fit when:
You feel overwhelmed but don’t know how to slow it down
You’re struggling to stay motivated or focused
Anxiety is interfering with school or relationships
You feel disconnected from friends or campus life
You’re questioning your direction or major
You’re trying to figure out who you are outside of expectations
You don’t need to have everything figured out to start.
When This Is Not the Right Fit
We may not be the right fit if:
You require immediate crisis stabilization (call 988 or seek emergency care).
You require inpatient or intensive outpatient treatment.
You are seeking court-ordered evaluations or documentation.
If a higher level of care is needed, we provide referrals.
